Feature
Rewind the last 30 seconds.
The error flashed and vanished. The bug happened once and won't again. With Prap, you weren't too late.
How it works
- Hold the mouse stillAnywhere, for three seconds — or choose Rewind in the tray menu.
- Pick the areaDrag over the part of the screen you care about, or click a window.
- Choose RewindPrap saves the last 30 seconds of that area as a video you can trim and share.
Prap keeps a short, rolling video of your screen in memory — 15 pictures a second, with the pointer. It never touches your disk unless you save it, and nothing is uploaded.
The length is yours to choose: 5, 10, 15, 30 or 60 seconds (Settings → Capture). It uses your graphics card's video encoder, so it costs very little.
Questions
Does Rewind record all the time?
It keeps the last few seconds in memory only, and forgets older ones as it goes. Nothing is saved or sent unless you choose Rewind.
How do I record the last 30 seconds on Windows?
Install Prap, then hold the mouse still or choose Rewind from Prap's tray icon. Pick the area and the last 30 seconds become a video.
